Paint Your Pet What’s Included: Three day painting workshop over three weeks (16th , 23rd and 30th August) Step-by-step guidance from local artist Luke Kelly A take-home artwork you’ll be proud to display Whether you’re celebrating a loyal companion or creating a heartfelt gift, this workshop is perfect for pet lovers of all skill levels. How It Works: Register for the workshop. Email a clear photo of your pet before the event (Very important this is a great quality image) Bring your own paints and brushes – I will provide the canvases Bring your friends, enjoy some creative days out, and leave with a unique portrait of your favourite companion. Spaces are limited, so book early!

Come and join us for a fun couple of hours creating at the Art Room – all materials provided for only $25 per person. Under 18’s are welcome – if accompanied by an adult.

This 12-week mixed media art class for beginners and returning artists builds creative confidence step by step through drawing, collage, painting, and ceramics. Students will explore a range of materials and techniques, develop observational and design skills, experiment with colour, texture, form, and composition, and create personal artworks across two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. Each week includes demonstration and guided practice, individual support, hands-on making time, and space to reflect on progress. Learning Goals Develop confidence using drawing, collage, painting, and ceramics materials. Improve observation, proportion, composition, and design skills. Understand value, tone, light, shadow, texture, colour, and surface. Experiment with layering, mixed media processes, and three-dimensional form. Create finished artworks using still life, natural forms, personal reference, and imaginative ideas. We will be using a variety of art materials including graphite pencil, charcoal, pastels, coloured pencils, collage papers, acrylic paints, brushes, clay, and simple ceramics tools. All materials are included, so you don’t need to bring anything. $330 for the entire course, so only $27.50 for a weekly 2-hour session – space is limited to 8 participants. 12 weeks from Thursday 3rd September to 19th November. 1pm to 3pm at The Art Room Narooma.
